Latex gloves are a popular choice made from rubber, a natural material. They are commonly used in the medical industry largely for their comfort and dexterity. However with latex being a common allergy, an alternative is a synthetic glove made from nitrile.

Nitrile gloves are made from a synthetic rubber and have a high resitance to punctures. They are often reffered to as ‘medical grade’ as they are an ideal alternative to latex where allergies are common.

Vinyl gloves are a cheaper, less durable glove. They are a popular choice for the food industry where high levels of durability are less of a priority.
